Toward the Realization of Carbon Neutral
In order to pass on the irreplaceable global environment to the next generation, we aim to realize a low-carbon society, a recycling-oriented society, and a society that coexists with nature by integrating our business activities and environmental activities. We are promoting environmental activities under the slogan "Contributing to the global environment with cutting-edge eco-friendly, energy-efficient products."
Environmental Initiatives
The Sanken Group has been promoting environmental conservation activities across all domestic and overseas manufacturing facilities, aiming for even greater improvement. As part of the group's environmental vision, the "SG Environmental Charter" has been established since 2000. We promise to act with sincerity and creativity in all aspects of our business activities to be environmentally friendly. Specifically, we have developed and implemented the "SG Environmental Action Plan."

The Sanken Group has implemented environmental management systems and obtained ISO 14001 certification in all domestic and overseas manufacturing facilities. Particularly, in the four major domestic companies (Sanken Electric, Ishikawa Sanken, Yamagata Sanken, and Fukushima Sanken), a consolidated environmental management system has been established to efficiently promote environmental conservation activities, and we are committed to continuous reduction of environmental impact.
Structure for Promoting EMS
In order to promote efficient and appropriate environmental management, the Environmental (E) Subcommittee of the Sustainability Committee, which reports directly to management, has been established as an organization under the jurisdiction of the Group's environmental conservation activity system.
In order to promote efficient and appropriate environmental management, an environmental conservation activity system was established across the Sanken Group under the supervision of the Chief Environmental Management Officer, who manages the promotion of environmental activities throughout the SG. In addition, we have established a system to facilitate communication with customers, business partners, and other stakeholders.
Environmental Audits and Periodic Reviews
In order to improve our environmental activities, we conduct internal environmental audits on an annual basis to check our compliance with relevant laws and regulations and the progress of our annual plans. In addition, we conduct annual audits by third-party organizations to verify the effectiveness of our environmental management system.
Any problems that are detected are immediately corrected, and the effects are confirmed through follow-up audits.
Legal compliance
We grasp environment-related laws and regulations and regularly check the status of compliance with laws and regulations. Furthermore, in order to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, we have established voluntary management values that are stricter than the regulations of laws and regulations at each site for emissions, wastewater, noise, and vibration.
Following on from last year, In this fiscal year, no administrative agency, etc. provided guidance or recommendations, or received complaints about the environment from neighboring communities.
