Sanken Electric Co., Ltd. has adopted a Management Vision that describes its target profile as a company over the long term. Our Management Vision is to drive a focused organization to become a highly profitable company that contributes to the innovation for our society through the development and implementation of unique technologies. We have created the slogan "Power Electronics for Your Innovat!on" to express our beliefs about the Management Vision.

The corporate slogan was newly established together with a distinctive logomark. The blue object in the center of the logomark represents Sanken Electric. The three crescent-shaped objects surrounding it express customers, employees, and society. The green object on the right side embodies our determination to grow as a company that realizes a sustainable future for people and the environment, while also contributing to society, through innovation driven by power electronics.

24 MTP Outline

In the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025 (FY2024), Sanken Electric started the 2024 Medium-Term Management Plan (hereinafter the “24 MTP”). The 24 MTP was established as a four-year plan that runs through FY2027. The plan positions FY2024, a year when the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake’s impact is still being felt strongly, as a period of recovery from the earthquake impact. The top priority to address during the 24 MTP period in Sanken Core was identified as improving profitability. We will do so by continuing to improve new products’ share of sales and obtaining fair sales price conditions for existing products, along with rigorously reducing the cost of goods sold (COGS). These efforts will pave the way for increasing our corporate value.

Sanken Core Growth Strategy (for Each Market)

Products such as power modules for EV traction motors and power modules for auxiliary equipment will serve as growth drivers during the 24 MTP and will undergo full-scale expansion amid the electrification trend associated with progress on the transition to xEV. Along with maintaining business in power devices for ICE (Internal Combustion Engines), our growth forecast envisions a target automotive sales ratio in excess of 50%.

Sanken Core Growth Strategy (for Each Segment)

We will implement our growth strategy for both Sanken Power-electronics Platform (SPP)-concept products and customized products. In addition, we will further enhance customer value and in-house value by strengthening elemental technologies.

Target Profile

Business strategy foundations will be strengthened through investments in growth areas, leading to the generation of cash flows. Through this approach, we aim to increase corporate value at the earliest opportunity. Efforts will be made to achieve growth outpacing the power semiconductor market growth rate, thereby shifting to a V-shaped turnaround trajectory following the period of recovery from the earthquake impact.
