Social Contribution Promotion Activities：Basic Policy

Sanken Electric, as a corporate citizen, leverages its technical expertise developed through its business and collaborates with the local community to address regional issues and build trust. Through advancing CSR activities, the company values being 'trusted by stakeholders' and aims for sustainable development.

Social Contribution Promotion Activities：Promotion Structure

At Sanken Electric, the "Social Contribution Promotion Team" has been established as a task team of the Sustainability Committee, chaired by Director Katsumi Kawashima. The Sanken Group as a whole promotes social contributions based on four pillars: "community development and disaster relief," "support for people with disabilities," "fostering the next generation," and "volunteering."

Community Development and Disaster Relief

Through the use of "PETBOTAL," (“PET bottle” in Japanese) which is made from recycled PET bottle materials, we communicate with local governments nationwide, contributing to community development and revitalization.

Support for People with Disabilities

We strive to promote mutual understanding through support for work experience in collaboration with local facilities for people with disabilities and through disability experiences using wheelchairs and white canes.

Fostering the Next Generation

In response to growing environmental awareness, we provide "environmental classes" and learning opportunities about "power semiconductors" at local elementary, middle, high schools, and universities.

We promote participation in activities such as local cleanups, personal collection of used stamps, and foreign currency fundraising through internally recruited organizations, as well as initiatives across the entire Sanken Group.

Ojiya Hotaru Event Volunteer Activities

We support the Ojiya Hotaru event held in Ojiya City, contributing to the promotion of the region's attractions and creating opportunities for community engagement and interaction. Employees and their family members volunteer to help install and remove PETBOTAL displays, working together with local residents to support the event.

Aze no Kirameki Volunteer Activities

Held annually in October
At the “Aze no Kirameki” event held at Shiroyone Senmaida in Ishikawa Prefecture, approximately 100 people participate each year as volunteers in setting up PETBOTAL. *The event in 2024 has been canceled due to the impact of the earthquake.

Sanken Electric and its Group companies continuously engage in social contribution activities, including community cleanup initiatives and support for educational and cultural programs, with the aim of fostering harmonious relationships with local communities. These activities help preserve the local environment, strengthen ties with community members, and enhance employees’ awareness of social responsibility.
As one example, many employees participated in cleanup activities around our business sites, contributing a total of 185 volunteer participants and 185 volunteer hours during FY2025. In addition, through support for public interest organizations and other community initiatives, we contribute to the continued development of local cultural and educational activities. Through these efforts, we strive to create tangible value for society and contribute to the realization of a sustainable future.
