Basic Quality Policy : We will pursue quality assurance from the customer's perspective by innovating technology development and production activities.
The Sanken Group will act as follows based on its basic policies.
- 1. We will develop and provide high-quality electronics products that can contribute to the interests of society.
- 2. Related divisions work together under a consistent quality management system to realize customer quality requirements in a timely manner.
- 3. We will continuously improve our quality management system in accordance with the results of management reviews and the status of operations.
- 4. We comply with customer requirements and legal and regulatory requirements.
- 5. We plan and implement quality improvement activities, including human resource development, and monitor their progress.
Quality Assurance System : Establishment of product development and quality assurance systems that meet customer expectations
In order to realize our Quality Vision, we will promote product development and quality assurance by placing the highest priority on information from customers.

Quality Management System Certification : ISO9001 Certification and IATF16949 Certification Acquired
The Sanken Group has acquired ISO9001 certification, an international standard for quality management systems, and IATF16949 (a standard for the automotive industry), and is continuously improving the product development, quality control, and quality assurance of our products.
Improving Customer Satisfaction : Conducting Customer Satisfaction Surveys
We regularly conduct Customer Satisfaction Surveys to provide appealing products and services, linking customer opinions and requests to product development and service improvements.

Functional Safety Standards for Electrical and Electronic Systems in Automobiles：ISO26262 Acquisition of Development Process Certification

On May 23, 2025, Sanken Electric Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Sanken”) received ISO 26262 development process certification—an international standard for functional safety in automotive electrical and/or electronic systems—from the German third-party certification body SGS-TÜV Saar GmbH. The official certificate was presented to Sanken on August 20.This certification confirms that Sanken's development process for automotive semiconductor devices meets ASIL D, the highest safety integrity level defined in ISO 26262.
As automotive systems become more complex with advancements such as autonomous driving, the demand for safety continues to increase. Semiconductor manufacturers are increasingly required to demonstrate accountability regarding the mechanisms for ensuring safety.
By achieving ASIL D certification, Sanken's semiconductor devices are now recognized as capable of meeting the high safety requirements of future automotive systems.
Sanken has long supplied a wide range of semiconductor devices related to automotive safety, including components for engine systems, electric power steering (EPS), and headlight circuits.
By supplying its products with its newly certified functional safety development process to the market, Sanken is committed to enhancing the safety of automotive systems more than ever before.
At the certification ceremony, Mr. Lisson Yan, Managing Director of SGS Japan Inc., delivered the following congratulatory addresses:
“Sanken Electric has obtained ISO 26262 process certification, which will become increasingly important in advancing functional safety development.
This achievement represents a significant milestone in Sanken Electric's long-standing efforts, and the strong commitment and motivation of its developers to functional safety requirements.
As autonomous driving and electric vehicles become more widespread, the semiconductor industry is becoming remarkably competitive and progressive. This certification is a testament to the high quality and safety of Sanken Electric’s automotive semiconductor products and represents a significant contribution as a leading company in the industry.”
Mr. Mitsunobu Fukuda, Senior Corporate Officer and General Manager of the Engineering Development Headquarters at Sanken Electric, also shared his comments:
“This certification is extremely important in the expansion of our automotive EV business. It is the result of years of dedicated efforts across our company.
