In our global procurement activities, we respect the human rights and labor-related basic rights of many of our domestic and overseas business partners. At the same time, we strive to ensure that fair and transparent transactions are conducted in good faith at all times.

Attitude toward purchasing

We have established basic purchasing policies, business principles, and ethical principles in our Base of Conduct and Management, and strive to improve the honest and transparent trading environment.
The Audit Division regularly checks the status of procurement operations.

Basic Procurement Policy

• 1. We will comply with laws and regulations and give due consideration to the environment.
• 2. Aiming for optimal procurement from a global perspective, we will build partnerships based on mutual understanding and trust with our business partners.
• 3. We provide our business partners with open and fair opportunities to enter, and select our suppliers based on QCDE satisfaction, regardless of nationality, company size, or business performance.

Selection of Suppliers

Based on our Basic Procurement Policy, we select suppliers who can build partnerships in accordance with the principle of free competition while providing equal business opportunities.

Held briefing sessions on business policy for business partners

Sanken Electric holds a business policy briefing on the cost of suppliers in May of each year, sponsored by us. Please explain the business plan and each business policy, and cooperate with the CSR activities and the Procurement Policy of the Materials Control Department. In fiscal 2021, we held a web conference to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infectious disease.

Revision of the quality control manual

In order to further improve the compliance with ISO9001 2015 and IATF16949 2016, we revised the Quality Control Guide to the eighth edition and distributed it in September 2022. We ask our subcontractors to communicate and develop the requirements in a reliable manner both within the company and to subcontractors.
