March 27, 2007 – Sanken Electric Co., Ltd. announced today that its manufacturing subsidiaries located in the Noto Peninsula have recovered to the following status. The facilities affected were the head office and five factories of Ishikawa Sanken Co., Ltd. and Sanken Optoproducts Co., Ltd.

The details are as follows:-

1. The head office and three factories of Ishikawa Sanken have already resumed normal operation.

2. The other two factories of Ishikawa Sanken located nearer to the epicenter and Sanken Optoproducts will resume normal operation on March 28, 2007.
